Of course she can keep her entire outfit of shiny riches and the hooded cloak but only when she escaped before Zant show up and attack Hyrule so it seems possible. Think the Disney adaptation of "The Hunchback Of Notre-Dame" as a friendly reminder. About to surrender or to die, which choice does Esmeralda pick? The answer is neither! Because Esmeralda always chooses the third choice--on which a villain who lusts after her never count--and that choice is 'retreat', 'escape', 'run and hide', and 'freedom', for what good reason? Well, the good reason is that whatever she chooses to surrender or die she won't be able help anyone she holds dear in both ways--in if she surrenders, it means only her life and nobody else's, because the villain Frollo never kept his promise and is looking forward to kill other people--both gypsy and civilian alike--anyway even due to him violently jealous of anyone (including Quasi) around him for being more sociable than himself to Esmeralda whom he sees only as a trophy, a sex toy most likely via forcing her to watch the others die. Even after being finally captured by Frollo, Esmeralda still refuses to surrender or die, although automatically picks the death part by spitting at his face. That is why the third option allows a heroine to, do anything to rescue, save, nurture and protect the innocent and those whom she trusts at the time of need and not only to save herself, while the other two choices does more harm than good and would motivate her to do nothing at all. And this picture is what it looks like when Zelda chose the third option, and this is what "Twilight Princess" be like, with Zelda as a playable character so it would have been a good equivalent of both "The Hunchback Of Notre-Dame" and "Heavy Metal", not the other way around! In case you didn't watch "Heavy Metal", here's a quote: 'To defend, this is the pact. But when life looses its value and it is taken for naught, then the pact is to avenge.' So Zelda get a similar role, her goal in "Twilight Princess" to defend and avenge her kingdom, exactly like my sister expected that game to be.

If Zelda chose to surrender and become a prisoner in the tower, she would have end up wearing a bikini-like set of filthy rags like any actual prisoner should have regardless of her status, in fact she should be wearing rags throughout the entire game otherwise it's a equivalent of "Swan Princess" and "Cool World", like not even would near anything like "Heavy Metal" to be exact. Because "Swan Princess" is where a heroine gets captured without being placed in filthier colder cell, without ending up wearing either prisoner's rags or erotic yet embarrassing/unconformable bikini set (one that is more humiliating than even Taarna's own choice outfit), without having a shameful strip, without receiving untreated injuries and without transformed into something more useless, helpless, powerless and possibly mindless and far less attractive than a swan) plus her entire role is nothing but the equivalent of Holli Would, Azula and Queen Azshara (none of all three who is a prisoner to a villain, because they all are villains themselves...besides, they never seen wearing rags nor having ugly psychical injuries on their faces and bodies). Speaking of "Cool World", of which Holli Would is indeed a main villainess, because it has an vain selfish mean conniving cowardly seductress who have been mistaken for either innocent graceful harmless damsel-in-distress or heartbroken badass heroine at first glance.

As for Midna, she's most diffidently the another equivalent of Holli Would, Azula and Azshara, not of Taarna nor Esmeralda, she shouldn't be a hero's companion nor should she be a heroine herself, she shouldn't be titled as 'Twilight Princess' because...first off she laughs and grins which barely for someone who seeks righteous justified revenge, in fact it's more fitting for someone who seeks only thrills personal gain...secondly she's purely abusive which including animal cruelty, I can tell that she didn't bother removed a shackle right off the poor wolf's paw...thirdly she's a materialistic narcissist who bragging about her appearance while she views all around her, all including Zelda, as inferior and imperfect plus talk very nasty and humiliating things to them.,,and finally, she has a complete lack of empathy, she gleefully mucks the suffering and death of others for no reason, and she treats heroes as unwitting pawns to do whatever she wants whenever she wants and will leave them for dead when they no longer be needed. When I first noticed her, I thought she just a random pathetic creature who serves only herself while preventing to help others, just like Gollum did. Hack, if Gollum dies as a sick twisted low-life scum-sucking pest with no remorse/regret and no redeeming traits, so why not Midna? Because she seems even more fitting for a villainess and boss in "Twilight Princess", not Zelda! I mean, here are the titles more appropriate and satirical sense than 'Twilight Princess' for Midna, can you call her as the 'Clown Princess Of Crime' (in case that she's Harley Quinn for the Tim Burton's version of "Batman"), the 'Phoenix Queen' (in case she's Azula, right after her equally chaotic-minded father Ozai) or maybe the 'Douche-bag Ghost' (a complete opposite to Casper the Friendly Ghost), can't you?

Let's get back to "The Hunchback Of Notre-Dame", Esmeralda wore three outfits throughout the film, two that are exotic and colorful with gold trimmings are the outfits of her own choice when she still free, whereas the third one she ends up wearing at the end is just dull pale dirty rags serves as Frollo's own idea of go-go enslavement when she gets captured. In "Heavy Metal", when Taarna gets captured she ends up being stripped naked by force and then tortured. Because this set of royal silk and jewelry Zelda is been wearing really doesn't make her smart--as Baloo puts it 'smart clothes don't make smart people'--and it is even unfitting for a go-go enslavement. I mean, how could it possibly be a go-go enslavement when she wore this thing earlier in the flashback!? What's wrong with a imprisoned princess in rags and why didn't the Nintendo game-designers even bother to figure it out before the game was officially released? Look at the Disney adaptation of both Snow White and Cinderella as reminders, when each heroine whose respective villain (a.k.a. the jealous step-family) took over her beloved childhood home, she was forced to live in filthier rooms, wear tattered rags and do thankless chores so decent people who adore her won't pay attention to her but it didn't work, the magic mirror said that rags cannot hide her gentle grace.

Like I said, "Twilight Princess" is a equivalent of "Swan Princess" and "Cool World", so riddle me this!... Do you remember that, in their respective movies, Taarna (and her spiritual successor Julie from "Heavy Metal 2000") and Esmeralda dance gracefully in midair and fight with swords and magic only when possessed by their respective villains? Well, I don't, neither did my sister!

Also, riddle me this!... Are both Zant and Ganondorf too fucking lazy, too stupid, too cheap, too gold-feverish, too shallow, too hung up on appearances, too obsessed with 'perfection’ to do anything to Zelda other than placing her in the tower and making her float in midair and given her a set of yellow eyes and pale grey-green skin with dark rune-like tattoos, all of which is only worth as an icing–made on the frying pan of melted dog turd that is the 'dark rune-like tattoos’, buffalo puke that is the 'pale grey-green skin’, and cat piss that is the 'yellow eyes’–on the Dingo-Pictures/Good-Times/Golden-Films cartoon shit cake?!
